Truck is a 05 2500 2x4 running stock wheels and tires.
Im thinking about leveling the front of the truck.
I measured the truck and from ground to the fender on the front is 34". The rear measures 38 1/2"
Is there a leveling kit for this and if so from who?
Also, would I have to replace the front shocks after the lift or would the Bilsteins work?
Thanks for the info.

With a 2 inch leveling kit it will sit near level but I think the butt sags a little \ .
Your measurements are not taken from good areas I think.

Not much out there for a 2wd. Your best bet would be the new 3.5" CST spindle (http://www.cstsuspension.com/products/sfID1/22/sfID2/8/sfID3/48/productID/391) coming out. The link is for a 6.5" kit but you should be able to get the spindle by itself.

not sure but i think this is for a 4x4 the only thing i have found for the 2x4 is a 1.5" front spacer. and i know that is only like $85 and the new shocks i look at some rancho 9000 i think that is the brand and they were only 80 or so for the pair. but as far as lifting the 2x4 the spacer is all that there is for now. i hope that they come out with the spindle soon.

When people ask me if they should lift their 2wd trucks. I always tell them NO!
Just thought I'd add that [laugh].
Just my $.02.

Other than lifting the front, what other options are there to get it to sit level?
When I took the measurements, I took them from the ground to the middle of the fender just above the tire.
Should I have measured it differently?

You can drop the back pretty easily. Search about taking the factory lift blocks out.

I have the Daystar 2 inch leveling kit on my 2004 3500 dually. That is the only suspension mod I have done to clear the 22.5's. Pics in gallery.

For general purpose I agree. But I would love to have a slightly lifted/modified 2WD prerunner type truck, it would be a blast!!

Had one, and it is!
My '04 Titan had 3.5" lift with Fox coilovers, Total Chaos control arms, Deaver leaf springs and Bilstein rear shocks. The 5.6 L V8 and 5-speed tranny made tons of power and that thing was a blast off road.

I do not work for CST... but I am in the industry. If anyone has questions I'd be happy to answer them.
Agree on the Titan... with the right suspension the Titan is a blast on and off-road. The downside is the truck equipped properly is fast enough in the dirt to warrant a cage and a few other safety related items. After my last el-rollo I've reconsidered the mandatory safety items... a cage is now one of them.
Lifting a 2wd truck can make just as much sense as lifting a 4x4 truck. I also happen to think the 2003+ Ram 2wd with 6" of lift and 35's looks really good... if I didn't actually need 4wd I'd love to have a lifted Ram 2wd for a daily driver.

I bet that was a BLAST to drive around thru the sand, or some sandy washboard roads [guitar]
