lift pump on the way out
My lift pump started giving me problems yesterday, the pressure would bounce all over the place (5-14psi during idle). I seen it get down to about 3 psi a couple of times while limping her home. Do you think I did any harm to my IP? How long is the IP and LP covered under warranty, My truck only has 40000 km on it.

They are both covered for 5 years/100,000 miles, whichever comes first.
You might want to just get your own lift pump though, Dodge is now using the 3rd gen in-tank pump to replace them,
and those that have had the retrofit aren't happy with it at all.

I found out today that a replacement LP from the dealer is $480.00.
and a jobber pump was about the same. I was shocked, has anybody else in alberta purchesed one recently.

I just had LP replaced about week and half ago. Northwest Motors said if they had to replace LP they only do the retrofit in the tank now. seems to be ok but not too impressed with the pressures. but seem to have more power now??? don't now how. just runs better. was that price for the retrofit or stock replacement? cuz thats about right for stock replacement at Northwest.
