lift pump question

lift pump question
my son is trying to order a lift pump for my 98 12v and the guy at the parts store says he thinks the 24v and 12v pumps are the same. The only thing is the one he shows comes with the fuel heater. Are they not a seperate item only on the same mount plate?

Fuel heater on a lift pump?????
I am pretty sure the 24v are electric and the 12v are piston.
I think the fuel heater and fuel filter are together on a 12V, not sure about the 24V.
