Lift pump changing tips
Im about to head out in to the SNOW and attempt to change my stock lift pump with the FASS stock replacement. Any tips for me or is this straight forward? What is bumping the starter to prime mean?Something abot a screen in the instructions also. ( Is 10am to early to start boozin?)

Actually 10am is right on schedule!!!
Should be a straight across swap, the screen is a strainer you put inline before the lift pump. Bumping the starter is just that. You hit the starter for just a second but not start the motor, and the lift pump should run for about 25 seconds. Do this a few times to build up fuel pressure and purge the air. If you don't have a fuel pressure gauge, now is a GREAT TIME to get/install one...

Be sure and either blow air back towards the tank or pinch off the line with vise grips because if you don't, you will take a diesel bath and it won't quit coming out.
