i was just wondering if anyone know about what it costs for a kelderman lift on a 2500 ram.

Not tobe a smart aleck, but change the title to Kelderman lift question. There are only a few members on the entire board that have one of these, so you gotta get their attention. All I know is they are expensive, but they are also show stoppers. Good luck.

Th kelderman lifts are roughly $6k base, then you add shocks, air management system, etc, and you are around $10k + installation.

I just went through this on my truck. If you want a suspension system that will give better ride and enough lift to fit 35s, go with Carli, Thuren, or Lorenz. KORE is overpriced. If you just want lift, go with an off the shelf kit like Fabtech or Superlift (with Thuren springs). BDS is a compromise between lift and suspension.

i have a 6 in. bds on mine with 37in. tires it rides decent , but it is a truck .

I also have 35s FCII on stock rims and I am not happy with the tires. The FCII on 17 inch rims are very soft sidewalled for such a heavy truck, plus I also tow an 7000 lbs trailer. My next purchase will be either E rated Toyos or go to a 20 inch rim or both.

Do the Cepek mud t/a's have a soft sidewall too or is it just the FCII, I've been eyeing up the 305's

Couldn't tell you for sure without seeing them, but I'm sure you'll be alright. Those 305's are E rated and the stronger sidewalls can hold higher air pressure.

i have the 265 70 17 on my dually and they work well they have 3 ply side walls and wear very well but iam interested in the comment about soft side walls on the fc11 had a set of 285 75 16 on my f350 and they towed and wore like iron did you run them less then max air preasure

Max is 50 psi, I run 47-48psi. I would assume sidewall deflection is much greater on my 35s than on 285-75. They are are okay tire, but 35 on 17 rims were probably meant to be used on a lifted Jeep or other vehicles much lighter than our trucks. If I stay with the stock rims, next purchase will be 35s that are E rated tires.
