Hi there well after searching and searching it has left me more confused then before.
I figure if I tell you guys what Iam after you pro's out there can point me in the right direction.

Here is what I am after for my 3500:

I want a decent lift 4-6'' what I don't want is something too expensive and that involves changing a whole bunch of parts
I don't have a tire size in mind and was just going to run with stock rims and my Nitto terra grapplers for now
I was more after around a 4-5'' lift as I think those are not as much work involved.

I don't mind spending a little extra $$ for a good or the best product either.
Truck will not be used off road and mainly is a daily driver highway and city.

Please inform me what brand you recommend and which lift and if there is anything else involved with changing.

If you want cheap check out dp-suspension.com
They sell kits with spacers but you can add 6" coils pretty cheap

Rough Country for me. I like it. Better then stock and didn't pay alot. Did it myshelf in 1 full day.

If your truck is mostly used city and hwy and is your daily driver, no need to get hardcore offroad suspension. Get a 4" revtek or procomp lift since you will be running stock tires and wheels. It's probably the best for your needs.

Here's your best bet with good quality shocks. The Bilstein 5100's seem to work real nice on these trucks. BDS lift is nice too. Also, you wouldn't put a 5th wheel hitch in your truck if your not gonna tow with it. So don't put one of those way over priced performance systems on it if your not gonna use it for that. Of course, if the roads get any worse in Greensboro, I'm gonna need a Kore or Carli for my daily commute to work in the Civic.

I've had tons of different setups from kore, skyjacker, tough country, pro comp, and currently tough country. All of them are quite similar in ride. Tough country is reasonably priced and a very good product. Their parts are the highest quality of ANY manufacture i've had parts from. Unless your going with a long arm setup a 4" and 6" kit are identical for parts. My truck doesn't ride like a sports car, but neither does any lift i've ever used, including Kore. I was actually the least impressed with Kore over any of the others. Partically because of the price tag compared to others(so I was expecting a lot more), and I was extremely dissappionted in their "kit" that was missing SO many crucial parts. My truck rode/handled the worst with their products, and the steering was terrible.

I would highly reccomend Tough country. Also they are one of the few companies left that powdercoat things. I am so ****** off that most companies like superlift, rock crawler, etc are to cheap to do it anymore!

Also since your from Canada steer clear from rock krawler! They don't warranty products for anyone outside the USA. Sure which I knew that before I bought their track bar, because they don't know how to measure their parts and build them right!

Hey guys,
I put a 4" Super lift long arm in the Misses truck and like it ok. I'm used to my dually which handles GREAT with the 35" at's. Her truck runs down the rode straight and handles good but the combo of short box and mud terrains makes the truck feel squirrely. As far as the lift goes it went in without a bit of difficulty and all the parts were in the box. The instructions were right on the money as well. I would definitely buy another kit.

Now that is a good one.
There is a lot nicer stuff out there and companies that will tune your shocks not ship the generic valving that the shock co puts in it.

I was looking at a Top Gun Customz (Tuff Country Kit) w/ Coils. You can get a pretty nice setup with Bilstien shocks, adjustable track bar, and dual bilstien steering stabilizer from them for about 1500. With alots of other kits your going to just get the lift for that amount.

Yep that is exactly what i've got. And it is a pretty good kit, and the price is unbeatable. The only bad part is TGC, that are just TERRIBLE to deal with!

You mean all these kore fan boys aren't telling the truth that kore is the be all end all of suspension? Dang....I guess that's why their kit didn't make my truck handle and ride like a dream, it's a shame hype doesn't improve a product

In fact so bad that I decided not to buy thier kit now that I have the money sitting in my bank account becasue I have sent 2 emails and they never responded. So instead I am buying a new bow and shotgun. lol
