Leveling Kit COILS no spacers.

Hola,

Looking for some reports on who has done the upgrade with front COILS to level out their 3500's.

I have a 2007 Mega and want to swap out the coils... just not sure what manufacturer (if any) and looking for recommendations. Cheers!

ThanX !!!
Tim

Skyjacker has a kit w/2" coils, lower control arms, and bump stops $470. I thought that was a little ridiculous, for the parts it comes with...

I leveled the front of mine with coils. Couldn't be happier. I got everything from Don Thuren at Thuren Fabrication.

I'll check them out... I forget who the manufacture was , but there was a company that had larger coils to level it out, but the coils were red in color...

The KORE VR springs are only available with higher end kits and the VR springs they are currently sell are already into the second rate when installed. I pretty sure you would be happier with Thuren or Carli springs

Lorenz.

Consider Lorenz too. Knowledgable guy. Good service. He saved my Kore system application with my popup cabover with a custom revalving. Took all of 1 hour for both Bilstein 7100's.

KOREs variable rate springs are too stiff and their shock valving is too soft.

I have the KORE HD Leveling, am very pleased with it. Mine came with the Bilstein shocks, now I believe the kits come with the Fox shocks. When I bought my kit, I was told that the springs ARE variable rate. I also installed the Bilstein shocks on the rear. The steering dampner is a single Fox unit.

Carli, Lorentz, and Thuren have excellent products as well. Their products were not available, or just becoming available when I got the KORE stuff. All of these will serve you well. My buddy bought the skyjacker springs and shocks for his Dodge 3500 when I got my system. He has since switched to the KORE and Bilsteins since driving my truck. I am sure that I could improve things with an aftermarket track bar as many have done, and probably some other things as well. I imagine over time there will be lots of stuff that will be of benefit to our suspension systems.
