Leveled, 35" Toyos, problem
Well, today was the day. Had a leveling kit put on , 35x12.50 toyo m/ts on stock 17" wheels. Don't get me wrong it looks awesome! I had the front end aligned, it is lined up good. But going down the road it sort of pulls to the right (passenger side) a little. The offroad shop said that is in aligned good and that they cant adjust anything else where it is a straight axle. I only have 21k miles on it, and they said that they think it is the ball joints. So I like the truck but I'm just pretty down about this. Any help or advice anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated. Also, there is 50psi in all four tires.
Thanks Guys

My caster is 4.5 on both sides and my toe is .10 on both sides.... Pulls to the left some on a level surface.
My rear is lifted about an inch and my front is lifted about 2 inches.
I use an adjustable trackbar though....

There have been many other threads about Toyos pulling to the right on this forum,Is it a pull or just a drift if you let the wheel go.Though I dont have Toyo MT,I have M-55s and they drift quite notacably right or left depending on the road crown. Its not something you have to fight ,but let go of the wheel and you could be off the road pretty quick.Drive in the center of the road and they track straight ,that should tell you if its road crown or not.

Also, I might add that I had the leveling kit done at a seperate shop. And when I drove it to the other shop where I got the tires it was fine, even though it was out of alignment I couldn't tell.

Is it possible that the bigger tires are exaggerating the crown in the road surface, My old F350 did that when I switched back and forth between the stockers and the 35 BFG's. The stockers were fine, slightest bit of crown in the road and the truck with 35's would drift to the right.

this is an issue that might be with our trucks, bigger, more agressive tires, lifts, or a combination of all of these. it's not just toyo tires that cause this, as people with other brands have had the same issue. with a 2" level kit, i doubt your axle has been moved enough to cause a noticeable pull, so i would address the track bar last. try rotating the tires- this worked for me once with a set of 33" mtz's, and is the cheapest of the possible solutions. also you can play with your psi and see if you can dial in what pressure works the best (i run 60-65 front and 55-60 rear on my 35x12.50x17 m/t's). there was a thread a while back where someone finally cured the pull with offset ball joints- i would try the easiest and cheapest fixes first. good luck.

Okay, I may try rotating them and adjusting the pressure. Maybe I need to increase my air in the front tires. I didn't realize that other people had this same problem, thought I was the only one. How much are the offset ball joints and do you have to buy 4 offset and change them all? where do you get them?
