Thanks for the good comments. Was kinda wondering about the stacks, I like them but was wondering what the overall would be like. I did'nt want to do the common 90 elbows, "Y" pipe thing, plus I thought about losing that 5 or more inches in the front of the bed with that big pile of pipe laying across the bottom.......plus as you all very well know I don't like coming off the green stuff easily, so there you have my $118 stacks, yes that is lock, stock and barrel.

My tires, well, the fronts are 265/75/16 cause I just bought them before I went snow sledding down my drive. The rear are the General Grabber AT2's in a 235/85/16. In case your thinking it, the tire height difference is minimal so the 4x won't be troubled. I'll keep the 265's on the front til they wear out then see where the back are and then I'll go same size all around. Them front tires will sling mud all up the sides of the fenders, doors, bed!! They are wide in the front. The spacer pushes them out a bit more than the stock wheels. Washed her this week and went to the scrap metal joint this am and it was a soupy swamp, now the truck is a mess!!!

Dave, those are actually 2nd gen mirrors, came with the truck. Some of them had the tow mirrors. I'm thinking maybe it was an option cause I have seen some without. Just the plain ol' mirrors. It took some getting used to cause I've have them folded down for the last two years and after the bed was on I flipped them up and adjusted them and I was lost. Still workin on figuring that sweet spot point with the bed alignment when backing into hook up my trailer.

Well, finally got my goose neck ball!!! Thought about the BW for years, but apparently it was way to cheap!! Total tally on the conversion, around $4500.00, worth every dime!! I jack knifed the trailer the other day turning around in my drive and hit the bed, the bed pushed against the top bar of the trailer and said, whoaaa!! Did'nt even chip the paint, just how I like it!

Now I can win truck of the month!! [laugh][laugh]:o

Anybody ever seen a "work" truck as truck of the month??
