Unhappy Leaky Freeze plugs and Buy Back questions

I was reading some posts regarding the Rapid Response call I received to test the freeze plugs in my 2004.5 Cummins. I was informed that it should have been done before my vehicle was sold and, because I am starting the lemon process for a severe engine knock, multiple failed injectors , driveline vibration and other issues.

It would be helpful to know if anyone has information about how Dodge was supposed handle the Freeze plug problem on vehicles that had not been sold. If they failed the test did Dodge repair, replace the engines or patch up the vehicles and sell them as lemons at auction?

Additionally, some of the posts about the freeze plug issue claim that if the freeze plug test was done after the vehicle was sold and two or more plugs blow during the test the engine is junk, but what will Dodge do when two freeze plugs are already leaking? Will they replace the engine without the test or try to repair it?

Leaking freeze plugs is NO big deal.. Shoot, you have a 7 YEAR 100000 mile warranty!!! IF the plug leaks, simply remove it and install a new one..Engine knock and injectors sounds like a fuel system problem.. Ie, contaminated fuel, plugging the pump or injectors.. Again, simply replace...Driveline vibration? is this when taking off from a stop? If so, there is a TSB.. If it is when driving, then this needs attention...Replace the engine because of a freeze plug or plugs is like Tearing down a home because the bathroom light burnt out... That is really stupid!!! If you get a flat you don't ask the dealer to buy back the truck.. Or if someone scratches the paint you don't ask him to buy it back.. The only time you can get a buy back is ... 1st. Your state law must allow it.. 2nd... YOU MUST give the dealer the chance to fix the problem... 3rd.. It must be for the SAME problem and they cannot fix it.. Some states it is 3 times for the same problem.. So. If your injectors are bad, they must be given 3 chances to fix it...Your engine knock can be from air in the system, air leaking in, low fuel pressure, or faulty injectors... I HOPE that you are NOT calling the "Pre-ignition" noise "engine knock".. The Ping IS NORMAL!!!!The knock will sound like a Rod Knock or a big hammer hitting the side of the block...I have never heard a Dodge Cummins do this...
