Leaking fuel injectors
Has anyone had leaky injectors? My #5 & #6 injectors are leaking and i have no idea how to stop them. Do they have gaskets, or seals? Do you have to replace the injector? They are bubbling fuel from the retaining nut (i guess thats the name lol). Any help would be appreciated.

They have copper washers. Have you tried to just tighten them a little? I believe they are supposed to be at 44 ft lbs. My number 6 bubbles at that number so I have it tightened to about 70 ft lbs. If that doesn't work you might look into new copper washers. Are your injectors stock?

check the horseshoe washers on the return line. mine leaked there. just be careful not to over tighten those small banjo bolts because they can and will break.

Get em at the injector shop. You should also get the dust seals that go in the hold down nut. IMO it would be a miracle to find them at auto zone, but they might have a torque wrench they would loan.
