So whats the census on this POS, mine is leaking, never enough to leave puddles on the ground but the wiring harness is a little wet. Do I take it in and have them give me a remaned one that sounds like it will do the same thing next winter or just see what happens when the weather gets warmer? I am really thinking I should have stayed with a gasser now. I thought diesels where bulletproof, seems like there is something else going bad every other day.

i had a cp3 changed out already and i still have a leak. come to find out its somewhere on my power steering pump.

Its up to you. I had mine changed after leak started. I was worried it would get worse and all that fuel blowing back at freeway speeds under the truck and a 1200+ degree turbo and exhaust don't mix. Why not get it fixed, its warrantied and good insurance you won't burn the truck to the ground. Just my 2 cents

have it replaced,hopefully bosch will soon fix the issue,other wise what are people gonna do when their warranties are up,buy a new $1200.00 pump every year.

Thats what I am afraid of! Every dealer that I have talked to around here has no clue whats going on, I really don't even trust them to rotate my tires!!

you could always do as I did and rebuild it,cost me $20.00 for the seals

Are the D'max guys having this same issue as well? 2 years and over 100k miles, no leaks on mine yet, "knock on wood".

I wondered the samething,but the pumps are a little different,because when mine first started leaking I looked into a duramax cp3 as a replacement for my Dodge,because I could get a new one for $800.00 compared to the dodge that was $1020.00 thru Cummins,which is now more due to price increases
