leak at injector

leak at injector

Yesterday I noticed the smell of diesel, ifound a leak at the # 6 injector could the nut be loose or is there a seal that could be bad.
This injector looks very hard to get too any help would be great.

This is what I have found out the tube in question goes from the back of the hp fuel pump to the #6 injector the leak is out side the head.
I talked to a mechanic at work he said the line may be cracked so for $ 82 plus tax I will try replacing the fuel line he doubts it is loose.
Any feed back on how to get to this line would be great I will take pictures and go slow unless someone has any tips.

19 mm wrench i believe tight but should work also u can loosen hoisting bracket from behind believe its a 10 mm maybe 13 hope this helps

if u went to the cummins dealer the line is cheaper. i got one for mine and it was 37$ CAN

i doubt the line is loose the pressure is so high in those lines that it would cut your hand off when it sprayed out even if the line was just cracked.
