Laser cut DV's with Stock 215's?????
How would a set of LC DV's perform on a stock set of 215 hp sticks?? Any benefits, problems?? How are the gains in power vs. the fuel economy??
Stock turbo, #10 plate slide, airbox raided, exhaust- 3 from turbo then 4 then 5" stacks.

I'm running Laser Cut DV's with stock 175 injectors...I took out 181 DV's and 370's, and went to this. I gained 20psi in Valet mode, and I still don't have the guts to hammer on it in Full Fuel mode, I've seen 68psi. Used to be 40psi Valet, and 63psi in Full Fuel
I'm looking for a set of 215's to run in the winter, then I'll have a big set of customs made

I just got a set of 215s for my truck and am halfway though the install. When I had them pop tested I was talking to the tech and ha said that the 215 noozle was pretty common and they could get them new for $38 apiece. Getting an old set of non 215s rebuilt into 215s would be cheaper than new ones by about $30 an injector.

I asked the same question not too long ago..
before i let my DV's go to help my bro buy a car as well as my first set of 370s, From what ive read they sure do help out ALOT with stock injectors, but i have no experience from actually using them, i could never find the socket to remove the barrels where they do in thru....
Chris,
now it makes me wonder why the 370s didnt give you more oomph than the DVs with the stock injectors... Im not sure tho if i wanna keep my 215s tho to try and run with DV's later on, or just twin up the truck and go ahead and run 370s, then go laser cuts....

Becareful if your still running a stock turbo and add Laser Cut DV's. I hit 53psi TOO EASILY on my stock HX35 with a 14cmWG'd housing on it with my Laser Cuts in one time.
Another member on here got a set of Laser Cuts from Scheid....installed them....less than a week later I saw him post he blew his stocker!

Do you already have a plate and injectors? If not I would go that route first, not as much fuel to worry with (EGT wise). I already had both before installing my DV's, and I could tell they added a TON of fuel.

I picked up 40 hp going to Laser Cuts, Stock sticks, and Twins...from a B1, 370's, and 181's. My timing also slipped at least 4*, from 17* to 13*, maybe more, it's been running a little lame lately
Industrial Injections Laser Cuts are wicked, compared to the 181's
