Laramie trim on an SLT

I was looking a a friends truck with the Laramie trim package on it & it looked like the body colored trim around the chrome grill is a seperate piece that attaches over the grill.
Has anyone tried to put this trim piece on a SLT??
I like the way the grill looks with the body colored trim.
Of course then I'd have to change from the chrome bug deflector to the body colored one.

2004 Larame packages are ditching the coloured trim for a chrome one with a billet grill. Just like my SLT... ;D

Beautiful looking truck!!! How much did it cost you to do the swap (grill and insert) ? I'd like to do the same with my SLT. Thanks.

Thanks, I really like the change too.
I paid 360.00 for the grill and 84.00 for the sport insert, then sold my original grill for 200 on ebay so in the end it cost me 244.00.
