Have you checked all the brake and tail lamps. Mine kept popping on and all the lights worked when i checked them. So i just pulled and checked them all and found a brake light with a loose filament.

Yeah I checked the front headlights, low and high beams work, fog lights work, all of the clearance lights work, I just replaced the brake lights about 2 weeks ago when they both decided to go out on me. Also checked the turn signals, and brake lights and they all were working.

Stover stop breaking your truck. I remember following you one day and your third brake light was out and I totally forgot to tell you about it. Good Luck at the game this weekend.

I know this is annoying but, recheck the rear lights (all connections) for burnt pins. Some times the rear light modules (the gray block) will burn in the connection to the individual lights. Dodge updated the light modules in late 04. They were about $14 a piece last year.

Something to ponder.... If the lamp out bulb blows, will the lamp out light still come on??
Mine did same one time. Finally found one of bulbs was not tight in plug socket. I switched bulbs and problem continued. Took a piece of plastic a wedged it in socket for tighter fit. fixed problem.

All i can say is, it is possible. If they are suspect, check the light modules for burnt (or discoloration on/in) connections as said before.

Start the truck but don't touch anything, no pedals, light off, etc.
Wait a few seconds to see if alarm goes off. Mine sometimes does it only when I turn left blinker or stop lights, since I have a bad pin on left taillamp connector.
Try each individual test (brake lights, blinkers, tail lights, etc).
