ladder bars
ok so im looking to build ladder bars for my truck, no lift yet but still looking to make some for now, i have everything to make em i just need to find out what everyone used to mount them to the axle and frame?

i took a piece of 3/8 plate steel welded 2 tabs on it and just drilled it out to slide over the u bolts and put another set of nuts on it. as for the frane i used a 3 inch wide piece of box tubing and weldes 1/4in plate to each side to slide over the frame and drilled holes to bolt through the frame. its pretty stout. ill try to get some pics this weekend.
