Hey maybe you all need to have a remote location meeting in Nashville Tn. I'm tired of hearing how much fun you all are having. That's ok you all are still my favorite people in the world. By the way good luck to my brothers starting their business R&R. Hope all goes well with it. I think as long as you all are honest and sincere with anyone you do work for you will be fine.

I am sure they will do fine. Cattle Hauler and I are planning on doing a site for them that we all can link to. Plenty of pictures of trucks with smoke, and that will bring about a saying. "If you build it with smoke, they will come) [laugh]

I quit calling BMD when My friend got $@^!&& on a set of guages. I paid 250. for mine he got hit with a 480. charge. same Issapro guages only difference is his was the full pillar and mine was not. >:( Not too happy with that. Lost all my business. they even told us it was going to be 300. when we left to pick them up ten they said something about a 18 dollar shipping fee and somehow it ended up to be 480. I'm not the best in math but I know that does not add up. [yuk]
DM01

Mine added up to 290. I got the full pillar, egt, fuel, and 60 lb boost. From EEP. They quoted Cattle Hauler a price of like 500, or more.

looks to me like no 2 jobs are the same price even if they are the same product.

The meeting for this weekend is a GO!!!!!!! We will be discussing the Claremont get together for June. Yes its a ways off, but we need to get all our
trucks, not ducks in a row. This event looks to be very special so we need to give Joel a big hand for his time and consideration. " At a Boy Joel"!

If anyone has an idea of what needs to be done, bring that thought. I would like to do a pusher pump instal on my 99. :)

1. Grill
2. Oil drain containers.
3. Tools. (metric)

Whatever you can think will make the day go smooth.
Just a reminder about our Feb meeting this coming Saturday night. We are meeting at Wal-mart parking lot at 6:30 pm in Cynthiana

What to say ??? The first thing that comes to my mind, is,"Its amazing what people will say when your back is turned". I don't care to comment about the harsh, dishonesty of some, but the facts still remain. Auto meter gauges can be pricy. The gauges I quoted you,Wesley, were in truth Autometer Pro Lite Comp. The pyrometer alone is $150,not including the $130 for the racing probe. So much for getting a friend that owed you money to put the injectors in. So much for blowing a unique Hx-40 doing only 2,000rpm with 26psi boost. ::) What about all the times I never charged garage time for things where I needed the garage ??? I would assume everyone knows that I give an "initial" estimate, labor included, unless the customer specifies otherwise. Everyone to walk into BMD has received top notch customer service. We have not changed, we progress everyday for business interests AND for the consumer's. ;D We offer nothing but the best all around. If I didn't, my dad would not be very happy. And that isn't healthy for me... [eyecrazy] I just think of how I would want to be treated, and treat everyone else better than that, nothing less. We appreciate ALL of our customers, not just some.

William Meers
BMD

Guys, I'm a bit disturbed at how this thread turned out. Personal opinions aside, I don't think it's appropriate to bad mouth another business in a public forum, especially with the possible legal implications. I don't think many of you realize how much trouble that kind of thing can get you, especially if it's not true. I'm not saying anyone here isn't telling the truth, but then again, I have no idea because I'm not involved.

I'm going to close this thread, and at the same time I am going to leave the BMD response VISIBLE because I feel they have a right to be heard when something like this occurs. I know if someone were talking about me or my business, I would want a chance to defend myself as well.

I don't want to take sides. I want no involvement. I also don't want people bad mouthing vendors in public. If you have a problem with a vendor, then be an adult and work with that vendor directly. Do not bring the dirty laundry on to our site. We won't have it. Keep it in email, and off my server.

Jack
