KORE Lift Kits

What do you guys think of KORE lift kits? I had my installed about year of ago. Overall I'm happy with the lift and has met my needs for lifting the truck...some performance, looks, tire clearance, etc. Although the ride quality is still rougher than I expected. I really don't have much of comparison between other lifts since I never actually drive another 3/4 ton with a lift. Seems better than stock. Curious what you guys think about KORE lifts..

I agree that my same thoughts. I had one small issue with the kit, but KORE took care of it. Great service and response from KORE! What kit did you get, how big of a lift and what size tites did you end up running?

I think KORE is way over hyped and over priced. There are others on the market for far less money and WAAAY better in performance.

One of the reasons I went with KORE at the time is I didn't want a lift of more than 3 inches.

Name em? Were not saying Kore is the bestBut they are for the money! Carli and Thuren are great, there's no question, but when you only have so much in your budget, you get the best with what you have to spend! Please don't say "just buy some 2" spacers and be done"

Thuren can put together anything you want and Carli has a Leveling Kit and a Starter System. You don't need to spend a ton of money to get an improved ride and some offroad capabilities. True that if you wanna go crazy off road you will need to spend some money but that's the same for anything that is quality and high performance. Call either of them and get some pricing and I'm sure you'll be surprised at how affordable they are.

I don't know I've never run across anyone with a KORE kit out in the desert, go figure.

Can't understand the "Thuren is overpriced" statement. He will put together anything you want for a budget, just call and talk to him. He put a sweet set-up together for me and I really liked the fact that the shocks were the same as a big, all out kit. Now I'm just slowly upgrading instead of having to jump in all at once. Carli stuff is awesome also, and Don uses some of their stuff in his builds. Go look on DTX or Dodge Trucks Xtreme and see what people have to say.

Kroeker and his sytems put in some impressive performances early in the game but his treatment of jobbers and lack of customer service soured his image. Don's put together an unbeatable system for around $3,000. Sage and Don have based their companies on customer input and service

Oddly tho, I've sent Thuren emails with inquiries about his products on two seperate occasions over the past year and he never replied to either of them.

If he didn't respond to your email than I'd be willing to bet he didn't receive it. I'd try calling him and leave a message if there's no answer (805)886-9250.

I'd be willing to bet he doesn't respond to emails he doesn't feel like being bothered with. Seems odd the warning on his web site about the shop being loud and busy so not answering the phone, either. Yep, he's got the "customer service" thing preloaded.

Sorry, not buyin' it.
