What kind of pump is the CP3? to get 20000 psi
Most hydraulic pumps make 1000-4000 psi. how the heck does a CP3 make 20000 psi? is it a piston, vane or gear pump? or gerrotor? what is it how does it work?

I haven't seen the schematics on it, but the logical choice for a pump of this psi requirements would be the piston pump. Gear pumps are too inefficient and can't handle the psi, vane pumps are more efficient, but their internals would be a real bugger to make it hold the pressure ...
