What kind of antennae mount?

What kind of cb antennae mounts are you guys using. I'm a little short on options since I've got a topper. Thinking about a magnetic mount. Still like the "dual whip" look though. Got pics? Post 'em.

I use a firestick stainless extended stake mount. It fits with a cap and works great with a 5 foot fiberglass antenna. It does not perform like a wilson 1000 in the center of the roof but the SWR acceptable.

This is the only car wash a Dodge truck belongs in.
I use a Wilson 1000 mag mount in the center of the roof. Awesome range but I get laughed at. People think it looks stupid... well I do too. I'm thinking of trying some where else. Mama would like to see the mega in the garage.

Iv got a Wilson Lil Wil magnetic on mine and it does a decent job.
Only thing I gotta remember to do is lay it down when going into parking structures.
Iv thought about going to a fender mount but havent had the time to configure the mount for the fender.

What kind of garage you got there? A barn? Mine will not even come close to fitting in our garage, even backing in and taking up the walk space at the front near the house... hahaha

If anyone is interested I have a stainless steel fender mount antenna bracket that fits the 3rd gen trucks. The bracket is angled to keep the antenna straight up and down. Also have a new 9’ firestik cable to go along with the bracket.

I have a Midland Window mount on mine for two years. Had one one my last truck also. It does fine for my needs on the highway, won't blow any drawers off, but highway info it works fine.

Both trucks went through a lot of car washes, I do remove the antenna before going through.

I have a Wilson 1000 Roof Top antenna mount, has a stinger whip that's about 4-1/2 foot long. Punched a BIG hole through the roof where the center dome light is - GREAT groundplane. I unscrew it when going into the car wash, comes with a cap just for things like garages and the car wash. I have a 12'x12' garage door in my equipment shed, so it goes right in without a problem. With the 35" tires and leveling I am too tall for most all of the parking garages, they seem to be designed for low-riders.

Iv noticed that with most of the parking structures here as well.
Without the antenna on, I have about 4-6" clearance.
And the truck is stock height.

For optimum performance the center of the cab is the way to go. You can use a mag mount if you want a big rust ring on your cab. I think the best way is to drill a hole and mout the willson 5000 or predator 10k. The left fron fender is good also you can use a fender bolt to mount any antenna you want.

Don't have a CB in this truck, but on our Toyota's we would put a Wilson 1000 right in the middle of the roof. I might have trouble drilling a hole in the top of my $40k truck, though!
