Kenworth/Peterbilt Shifter
i was wondering if i could use a Kenworth/Peterbilt shifter **** in my '96 CTD.
i haven't personally driven one of these big-rigs but i've ridden in them and i like the way that the shifter feels and looks.
i was looking at the shifter **** and was wondering if i could use the splitter gear actuater for my pac brake switch?
could it be done? i just thought it would be sweet if it could.

I have a Fuller shifter with two valves on mine. I am using the splitter valve for a 2-low control. The low range selector is going to control my engine brake. Because of the height of the **** I cut the top of the lever off and welded a 1/2" bolt into it. I also made my own short throw shift tower. Have been very pleased with the results.

"riggin" - take a piece of allthread and thread it into your "new" shift ****.
Then weld a nut that is the same size as the thread on your shifter onto the allthread and you will be able to screw your "new" shift **** onto your shifter OR
put a die on your shifter and make the threads the same size as the threads in your "new" shift ****.
