KDP done here Too
Just finished killing my KDP last night ,was a pretty easy job ,although the tips and advice I got on here sure helped me lots .I'm by no means a mechanic. My pin was sticking out about 3/16",Was great knowing when I turned my engine over this morning that pin would not be causing me any grief.

I bought and used the KDP Repiar Kit from TST... piece of cake, and u get to better know the front of your engine.. Just FYI here is an honest writeup that I wrote in regards to this....

I would encourage you to do it yourself, its not hard at all, just basic wrenching....

I used the kit from TST also, was nice to have everything in one kit.
I'm glad I took the time to research and ask some question on this site ,it is a very easy job nothing to complicated. I took the fan shroud out along with the fan .I did find out there is a wire that needs to be cut from a tie-stap thats attached to the bottom of the shroud. My biggest problem was the coolant and washer fluid tanks, theres little ***** on the back of the tanks you can't see so if you stick something in there to pry a little while you lift they pop right out.
