Jvd Torque Enhancer

Does anybody out there run this box? I have never heard of it. Is it just a fuel box or does it fuel and time? I would like to know how these things run.

Try this link - http://www.tibor.org/fuel-box.html

I had the JVD on my 2000. Made 264 rwhp with the box on full, only thing I didn't like about the box was it's sudden on/off with relation to the fuel pedal. The JVD was off until certain conditions were met, then the light would come on, either RED (50%) or GREEN (20%) depending on which setting you had it on.
I usually ran it on "green" worked fine. If I needed power I'd reach down and flip the switch to red, mash the pedal and roll. Alright box, but think there are better solutions out there.

The original or "A" boxes upper fueling limit was 50% and lower was 20%. The chart on the link is incorrect, though as it does only fueling. These were one of the first electronic performance modules out there. At one point, they started making them with hotter programming. If the little gold or silver sticker is still on the box that has the serial number on it you can tell exactly what you've got. If the sticker has all numbers, it is an "A" box. If the sticker has a letter at the end of the number, that will denote which level box you have. Level "D" box was the hottest box at the time they started trying the hotter programs. Eventually they made the "H" box for all out fueling. It actually fuels harder than a Redline, supposedly 121% fueling if you do the math. Supposedly some had programming for 4000 RPM's. I have only talked to one person that claimed he had that program in a "D" level box. I personally have an "H" box without the 4k RPM programming. It is unreal. It fuels far and above what my Redline does but only up to 3200 RPM. So much so, that I've never tried it on the Red setting with my current setup. Basically, I just don't have the ***** to try it. I have a buddy that is a member on here, Rods, that has used my box for pulling and he seemed to really like it. His only complaint was that it shut off at 3200 RPM and didn't start fueling again, until the sled brought motor back down on him towards the end of the track.

The only thing with these boxes that you have to realize is that they are an old design that works well, but doesn't have the smoothness and options like most of today's other boxes. For more info, you could call Haisley Machine and talk to Patty about them. They really pushed this for the pullers back in the day and as far as I know were the only ones selling them.

i have friend that had one and has sence sold it but that is one of the badest boxes ive seen on a 24v. he had that hottest setting they made for he was able to get ahold of the creator of the box and was able to get a program they never actually released to the public so he said. but in 3rd gear with the box off smash the truck in the floor and then turn the box on the hot side and it would wheel hop like you just shot 200hp of nos to it. that was with massive injectors and a sheid vp44 pump. and big turbo.
