Just order my new 07 Cummins!!

I had a 2003 Quad Cab Long Box 1500 5.7L Hemi, her name was Sheila...

Well I sealed the deal and placed the order yesterday for my new '07 MegaCab SLT SRW 6.7L 6-speed Cummins... I am so stoked to go diesel... just gotta learn about her now...

I wanna learn about biodiesel, kits for making stuff at home, and all that good stuff... this is my first post and my first outreach for info... I have known of the power of the cummins powerplant cause a buddy of mine even switched from his SVT Lightning to a 2500 Cummins...

anyway... i found this site via google and glad to be a member... i will try not to be such a newb and will take any advice gladly!!

Welcome aboard! If I am right the Common Rail (CR) diesels have problems with bio because of the high pressure in the rail?? Some other will chime in soon.

And again, Great to have another Cummins lover!

I'm sure that the new 6.7's are rated for only B5. I think that they even leave the factory filled with it. Any more than B5 and you might have problems.
PS Welcome to the DTR, fill in your location so we know where you are then join your local chapter. After all it's FREE!!!!!!!!!

Didn't I see somewhere that Cummins just approved the use of B20 for engines '03 and up? It doesn't seem that people are having problems with bio, but I may be missing something.
