So Diablo has told me that their tuner saves the stock program that was on the truck before you load their program therefore when you go back to stock it is the true stock dodge program....... Therefore it is not detectable...... Does anyone have anything that says otherwise I really want a downloader and if I have to I will shell out the money for the Smarty I just dont want that much power and if it is not detectable the Diablo will save me money......

Guy didnt say but from the way I understand it unhooking your batteries resets the key counter so what does that prove??????

It reloads there stock program not the one you have in your truck now, and if it is still the same as before it will be an overseas file that you will get so if you ever want to run a smarty you wont beable to after the Diablo, Smarty will not link up to the overseas files

I see ........... So if it is overseas can the dealer tell???? I told the people at Diablo Ialready had it installed so I dont know why they would lie.........

did you ask them if the hand held sucks the stock program out of the ecu? if he said yes I guess you would have to call it a lie

the diablo does put a stock program back in the ecm but it's not the latest, but it is from chrysler and not from overseas. diablo does not make junk by any means. yes there extreem is also much stronger than smarty on top too.

is it detectable yes, but so is every other downloader---anything that reflashes the ecm is able to be detected, just some are easier than others to find.

It depends... If I roll on the throttle, not too bad. If I just matt it... it'll cloud up the intersection pretty good till boost kicks in.
