Just Finished My Florida Lemon Law Process
Chrysler And I Finally Came To Terms! They Took Back My 2007 1/2 2500 6.7 Cummins Diesel, And Put Me In A New 2009 3500 6.7 Cummins Diesel.
Was A Process That Went Quite Smoothly, But Of Course We Did Have Our Differences.
My 2007 1/2 Had 45,000 Miles On It, And They Wanted Me To Pay A Usage Fee Of Around 40-Cents A Mile. After Haggling For Weeks, I Decided To Leave My C&M Ranch Flat Bed, Ranch Hand Grill Guard, Aftermarket Navigation System, Leveling Kit, And Tool Boxes On The Truck, Because I Was Told What Ever I Left On My 2007 1/2 They Would Pay Me For. So After It Was All Said And Done, I Paid Them Nothing, And They Actually Wrote Me A Check For $6,400.00 Bucks.
My 2007 1/2 Was Brought To The Same Dodge Dealership For The Check Engine Light Appearing On 15-Times, Over The Time Span Of Purchasing The Vehicle. The Final Repair Was Preformed, And The Following Morning After I Picked It Up, The Check Engine Light Was Back On. All Check Engine Codes Were Emission Related, From The Turbo Back!
So, People, If You Have The Same Ol Problem Time And Time Again, Document It, And Keep Good Records, And Obviously, The Lemon Law Works For Us Consumers.
Hopefully My New 2009 Won't Have This Ongoing Problem.
I Guess It's Time To Change My Signature

GM bought a 2003 Duramax back from me in 2004. They gave me the same initial runaround, but I stayed on them and stuck to my guns. I got a check and went out and bought the exact same truck in a 2004 model. Never a problem with the 2nd truck. They also paid me for all the accessories I had put on the truck. Just sent them copies of the receipts.
The Lemon laws are different in every state, but they do work. Keep your receipts and dealer printouts from repairs under warranty. You don't even need an attorney most of the time. I didn't.
Congratulations on your new truck. Hope it works for you.
