just ditched the powerstroke and got a cummins

I just recently sold my 2002 powerjoke and bought a 2002 2500 shortbed crew cab auto cummins with 58,000 miles with a 6 inch lift and 35 inch tires and love it but I have the diesel modfication syndrome still so i want to upgrade it a bit. I very new to these motors but i'm well aware of what they're capable of. Its going to be my daily so i can't go to crazy but i do have some cash to play with, around 3500 since i just sold my yamaha banshee as well so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks alot. I'D RATHER BE CUMMIN THEN STROKIN!!

Why would you sell the Power Stroke and down grade to a Cummins? The Ford is obviously the superior tru......wow I almost kept a straight face through that whole thing.

Congrats on the purchase, you cant go wrong. Fill out your sig so people know what you have. Save alot of time.

The vp44 injection pumps will fail without fuel flow. Start by getting gauges, then fuel pump like Fass, Airdog etc. Then the box or tuner. I will mention one that you will hear alot about "Smarty"...check it out at www.smartypower.com

Guages 400+/-
Fuel system 150-800
Valve body and torque conveter 1500+
Box/ programmer 400-1500
turnbuckle/ j hook 5-40

If you don't mind digital guages you can get a Juice with a digital guage display and have the all the boxes you need and won't have to buy guages. I like the autometer z mechanical guages personally due to how well they match the oem guages. And I do agree with Jlent on the smarty though- it really makes my truck fun to drive.
