With what you just said, you bought the perfect injectors.

Little to no smoke when normal driving, slight haze on hard runs.

Of course you will need to program accordingly. A stock truck smokes too much when over fueled and heavy footed.

Oh, and congrats on the buy. I know you did alot of research before pulling the trigger on the Machs. You will be happy.

Definately a good choice. Had 1.6's back in 04! Less smoke than any other brand...in that size.
There will be a difference.... may require a bit of relearning on how you drive, because of your atuomatic.. May need to ease onto throttle till turbo spools a bit, before firm acceleration.... at least on hot days.
With my Mach 4's I don't need to be careful till Temps get over 85*, unless i'm heavy. Problem is that's 6 months a yr down here. .

You will love them!

I took out the Mach 1.6s only because I bought the Mach 4s. You will love the 1.6s especially towing. I had mine stacked with the Smarty and towing EGTs never got over 1200°F no matter what.

I do not tow much anymore so I went with the Mach 4s. I still have the 1.6's on the shelf if I change my mind and want to go back.

Mach 1.6's.

I had them along with an Edge EZ in my '98.5. The only time they'd smoke was really tromping on it and at high altitude. I had a DTT upgraded auto and the tighter convertor contributed to the bogging effect. Good product.

Excellent choice! I love mine. I have been warned though by Rip and Bob that I should put off some cash for a clutch towing with 1.6 and a mild box. So far I haven't smoked the clutch but I'd be even more careful with the auto. Don't gun it if towing! I can definitely feel the grunt if I step on the gas, going uphill with the trailer, and feel the rear end "stand up" a little with the axle wrap, and this is where I let off the gas to save the clutch...

I never had any clutch slippage issues with the 1.6s and the Smarty turned up all the way even when towing my 10k toyhauler. I ran them for about 20k miles and loved them. Very clean and upped my mileage a bit.

My clutch did not last 2 minutes after I installed the Mach 4s running empty. Anything past 26 lbs of boost and the clutch just slipped like it was greased. I turned the Smarty back to stock to keep from roasting the flywheel until my new SBC arrived. The stock programming will defuel past 21 lbs boost. This worked great to tame the injectors and save my clutch while I was waiting to install the clutch.

Hi, there is also a few other things

You will need a box that does boost fooling as the Superchips does not.

Also a J hook or you wont see anymore boost than you see now.

Your HY 35 is going to scream for mercy

Mine is pretty lazy because of the low stall TC, but I tow daily and it does what I need it to.

BTW I have friends in West Alexandria do you live near there?
