Need info.
I have a 2005 ram 3500 / 5.9l stock engine and components. 3500 kilometers
auto trans. When I purchased truck it had a Edge Juice with Attitude. I have
it set on level 1. My question is the computer only registers on ocassion, (one out of five times.) When it does not reg. it reads EGT of 30F and Engine temp of 40F. Last week I started engine and it ran rough for
about 10 seconds and recovered by itself. An hour later it happened again
so I took it to a mechanic who diagnosed problem to be faulty computer
chip. He disconnected Edge and now it runs fine. I spoke to Edge in Utah who suggested that I send the unit to them and they would reprogram unit for about $100.
Has anyone else had this problem with Edge product? What is your opinion
and suggestions.

it is like anything that is electrical. It can have problems. Edge is a good company as I have sent out a few to have reprogrammed. If you were the original purchaser of the system with receipts, they would just take care of it but it sounds like you bought it second hand (cause you said it was on the truck when you bought it), they are like 99% of the others and charge for updating since the warranty is issued towards the original purchaser.
