Jammer Nozzles Skipping Under Load
1st post so bare with me.
I have a 98.5 with an edge comp, edge jammer nozzles stage 4, AEM Work Horse Intake, FASS Supply, LED Low Fuel Pressure Indicator & 4" Exahaust. I just added the jammer nozzles a few months and it made a huge difference in HP, but when I towed my 5th wheel with the comp box on it skips under full load. With the box off it runs fine. I did not have this problem with the old injectors. Has anyone seen this before a problem with skipping under load?

You need a little more detail about it. What tranny do you have? Does it do it whith the edge on and no trailer. The jammers can run a little ruff because they are a cheaply made injector, but most of them run fine. I would say your probly feeling the auto trans, or clutch whitch ever you have, slipping.

Could very well be your tranny slipping. If it is shuddering, you could be running the lift pump dry thus starving the injection pump.
If shuddering, it could be the stock wastgate being blown open by excessive drive pressure and flapping so to speak causing noticeable shudder.
Need more info to get better ideas as to the problem.

It has a standard transmission, the jammers were nozzles only installed on the stock bodies by and injection shop. It maybe the clutch, because its stock, and rough (chatters) on take off if you slip it. I tryed to make it skip with out a trailer a few days ago, and if I punched it with the comp on level 5 in 5th @ 50mph you can barely feel it. Before a long road trip (4000 miles) with my 5th wheel (37' & 16k lbs) there was no skipping empty. Also on that trip I stripped the teeth off of 5th gear. So, I bet it is the clutch. The fuel presure is staying above 8 psi, had problems in the past so I watch that light like a hawk. The boost presure barely flickers while skipping. Thanks for the input. Maybe the additional information will give you a better idea of what is going on.
