Jammer 3's or 4's

I'm looking for a set of sticks to give my truck a little boost! I'm not stone set on the Jammers yet but they seem to be a good bang for the buck. I also looked at Mach 1.6's and Mach 2's but the money don't flow that easy round here!

Truck Info: 02 2500 man. 4x4, Edge EZ, AFE 4in exhaust,GFS-392, BHAF, Autometer Gauges /Boost/Pyro/Fuel Press, 33's

At the moment I can't get my EGT over 1000 on level ground with no load no matter what I do. My other truck, the 96 will shoot that EGT gauge over to and past 1400 if you don't watch it. I like havin to watch it! Will stage 3's get me there on the 02? If not will stage 4's be too much?

Thanks Jason

Is your truck automatic or standard?

Thanks for the reply guys.

Aosipower-I had never heard of scheids till you mentioned them. Let me do some research. May I ask why you're selling them?

riversidediesel- My truck is a 5spd manual.

I would go with the 4s. When I had my HY on my truck with 3s and the Quad box, I would hit 1450 pretty easy. The Commander would flash the EGTs every time I got on it. But yeah, you should be able to handle 4s with an EZ.

ive got 5's and the Comp without the wire tap (an EZ essentially) and i have to work hard to get to 1300*. i was expecting to be beyond 1400* but maybe i got a weak set of 5's or maybe thats just how 150hp injectors with an EZ run. it doesnt seem right to me. ive moved my EGT probe up and down in the stream to see if i had it in the wrong position and no changes.

riversidediesel- I think I will get the 4's, not too pricey but I should feel the difference.

pgilles- That does seem a little odd. But is the power there?

99globalwarmer- I realize you normally don't get the full rated power but I think the 4's will be about right for what I want. My goal is around 400 ponies at the flywheel.

I also wanted to ask everyone how did you buy your jammers? Just nozzles or full injectors? If nozzles did you get them tested? How do your trucks idle?

You're correct 99globalwarmer. The F1's sound good from all I've heard but $700 for Mach 2's is a little much. The Edges may not be as good of a brand name but I can get the power I want at the moment for around 300, including getting them tested.

You might check with F1 or Source and see if they have a line on anything used......Or if source has a good deal on a whole set of Jammers........

i would recomend that you get rid of the banks stinger. if anything get the powerpack. i have a banks on my other truck and like it alot. even though it s not a ton of fuel it gets like 23 miles a gallon which is pretty nice. or you can stack the banks with a superchip. i also have that on my other truck. call banks and tell them you want the big hoss tune on your truck that will help alot they say its equal to a tst on 8 but i like my tst more.

stack with superchips, get big injectors, bet big hoss tune, and some turbo mod and your on you r way to 400+ easy
