I installed a set of gauges in my truck in 06. The pyro is not reading correctly, goes to 1500* instantly at wot then as soon as you release the throttle is drops to 0. Goes between 0-300 cruising down the highway. Is this in the module? Or maybe the thermocouple?

I would uninstall and reinstall the amp box to see if it reoccurs. I've heard of thermocouplers being bad, but I have rarely seen it happen as compared to the amp box. I had an amp problem too last year, Isspro fixed me right up.

what is a amp box i do not have one when i turn my lights on it gets wacked out

It is the box that transmits the signal, amplifies it, and powers the pyro.
