ISSPRO EV2 Fuel Gauge - Sensor Failure
The search feature hasn't worked for me the past few days so I'm postin this up.
I'm curious if anyone else out there has had their fuel pressure sensor fail on them?
Mine failed at about 15,000 miles of use. Ran fine showing 15-17psi until last week. One morning it showed I was running 28-30psi and I go to start it the next day the needle was pinned to the max at 40psi.
I pulled the sensor off the 90 degree fitting at the vp44 and the gauge would still be pinned to 40psi.
I'm 99% sure the gauge is still in working order.......when I pull the harness off the sensor it will drop back to zero.
I did not have a snub needle on it, but I wasn't expecting it to fail so fast.

Update - I e-mailed ISSPRO about the sensor failure and 4 days later I got my sensor free of charge!
michael.pliska@isspro.com was my contact.
I also threw on a snub needle inline and the gauge has been working fine ever since.

Isspro really stands behind their products.
They gave me a complete new pyro six years after I bought the original that was reading wrong.
No questions asked, they didn't even want the defective gauge back.
