diggity dodge

I have had my isspro egt gauge in my truck for over a ear with no problems now all of a sudden it will read half on the egts and I now by the way the truck is running that it should be reading hotter. Its weird because it only does it every couple of days. I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction as to what the problem might be.

Maybe the thermocouple is shot?

Or a poor ground. That will do it, too.

I would first check the wiring between the amplifier box and the thermocouple (sensor).
