interior water leak

interior water leak

anyone have this happen to there truck.
i got '99 extended cab and water leaks when it rains for long periods of time.
proberly rally hard to see but water is comming out of the readout overhead.
and hear is a pic of the truck.

My guess would be a cab light right above your overhead console

i guess what im trying to ask is if this has happened to others, how did they fix it or whats the fix for it. i dont see any screws to remove the overhead console

it is your cab light on top you need to seal them or buy new gaskets there are two screws that hold them on . the overhead comes off by pushing the tabs in side the sunglass holder then moving it backwards be careful the plastic breaks easy

I have a leak somewhere too. I cant figure out where its coming from. My carpet on the driver side gets wet and I have good husky liners and my whether stripping seems good. Good luck with yours

there is a black pug on the roof, for running light bars etc. mine got loose over time, had to silicone it.

This has happend to several people but usually the water is on the passenger side. The water leak is at the cab mounted brake light. Try resealing that and see if it fixes your problem.

I had my windshield replaced and they did not put in enough glue and it leaked though the drivers side pillar on to the floor. Fixed it by pulling the windshield again.
