I thought for sure someone would have put up at least one pic of their cool big rig.....
Well, from my experience of looking inside trucks, I wouldn't want to see the inside. Every OTR truck Ive had the pleasure of being in always have the most disgusting smells and garbage everywhere. Of course, these weren't personal trucks and were company trucks, but man they were nasty!! It was almost worse than walking through a swamp with thick mud. I swear I lost a shoe once after it stuck to the floor. [laugh]
On the other hand, seeing a nice clean interior would be sweet.
Bumpity bump for this post. [coffee]

Agreed...every time I go out on a call for electrical problems I pray I don't have to check fuses just for the fact I hate climbing into co. trucks. Whats worse is replacing accel pedals, or brake light switches, or anything that involves laying on the floor of those things...I'd rather take a nap in a public restroom. So yeah, some good looking interior pics would be a blessing.

we get "some" nice rigs in. they're few and far between though. i'll try to remember to snap a pic when it does. I'm really liking the freightliner cascadias and Coronados now though. really nice ones around.

I work at a small truck shop. We get alot of really nice trucks in with clean interiors, mostlys petes and KW's. All of these are otr trucks with atleast 600,000 on them and the interiors are spotless, as if they were new. We get the occasional nasty one every once in awhile, but otherwise not to bad

Most OTR trucks are pigs, that said there are some very clean ones too. I clean trucks for a living when I'm up at school, we do mostly Pete's so Volvo's and macks, and the occasional KW. I will snap pictures when i start working again.

I used to clean my dads rig when I was small. You took your boots off to get in the truck. I also had a few Bull Haulers buddies growing up and you would think it would be harsh, rather opposite. No boots, spit shine interior. My neighbor in my old house had Oak Hardwood in his sleeper..

Yea, hardwood can look pretty sharp, as long as it is done right! Few Pete's that come into work have hardwood for the entire flooring..cab and bunk. They usually have towels layed out on the floor for us, we put rags over the pedals, temp floor mat, seat cover.

I also like the look of the Cascadias. My biggest complaint is that the tow hooks are clamped/bolted to the frame rail...just one more tool I gotta dig out to winch em. The newer KW int's are very nice, as long as they are kept up, along with the Pete's, so basically Paccar makes nice ones. That being said, R.I.P. 379, anyone know how the inside of the new style compares to the older Pete's? I havent got a chance to climb up in one yet. Those new IH's gotta be pretty sharp inside too, I know the outside looks sweeeet.

Dad's KW was the same way.. You could eat off the floor!! I guess when you lived in it as much as he did you tend to keep it clean
