Intercooler boots

Who makes about the best boot's , can't seem to get the one the connects the the intercooler on the bottom to stay on.

Im in the same boat..

I think from PDR, you can get some high performance silicone boots for a decent price... Might be worth lookin into....

I ordered a set from stylinmotors.com. They are a sponser on this site. Check them out. They have a special running for all 4 boots with the stainless t-bar clamps.
I am waiting for mine to come in as we speak.

Try hairspray to get the stock ones to stay on. I am boosting 48-50psi and mine stay on.

My PDR ones have worked great up to 70psi.

I've try hair spray twice along with new clamps, it mostly blows in high gear, right as it booost all the way , ita peg my guage then levels out about 55 #

Wow, you put down 500 Horse with mach 7's and a silver bullet! Those two products must be great! Put in a SO pump and you'll be over 600. Long live the SO's!!!

you can also use Gates water hose, you can get it at O'Reileys in foot lengths and cut it to size, they can get all diameters too

actually I did just put on a S.O pump thuresday night but really havent been able to test it real good becasue of this darn boot keeps blowin' off

Well, I'll be interested to see some dyno numbers when you get that boot figured out. Have you tried multiple clamps yet. I would definately rinse off that goopy hairspray mess and maybe rough up the aluminum with some 60 grit and put a couple of good clamps on there. If that doesn't work, put a clamp on the pipe that is moving away from the intercooler and wire it to something solid so it can't move back.

the first 2 days after I put the twins on I was continuously blowing the pass. side intercooler boot. Its staying put for the past couple weeks, but I think I have leakage going on........I'm going to order the HD boots from PDR.
