I can't belileve how much more power my truck has, it feels like I put a turbo on a naturally asp. motor. Traction in 3rd gear (3rd gear including granny on a manual 6-spd) is silly, even with a posi & 285/17's going in a straight line. It does smoke a bunch, which I guess I have to warm up too, I feel like I am throwing a bunch of trash out the window when I get on it, but it is worth the joy.

I hope I can fight it. I have my 68 Buick Sportwagon that needs my attention. It has a 430, a full manual 4l80e, 3.73 12 bolt, and Al heads waiting in the garage. I can definetly say that afte all the Gran Sports I have had, I have never felt such a big power boost from one modificaiton like the tuner. Even when I went from crappy stock iron heads to big valve Aluminums on my last GS. It was a big jump in power, but jeeez not like the SC did to my truck.
Thanx.

I know, it is so exciting. I am looking at intercoolers & stuff. The one thing I really don't want to do is have to buy a clutch out of necessity. The two disc set-ups look great and get great reviews from owners. But jeeeez, the are so much more expensive than getting an old Hays or whatever clutches to put in front of the Muncies & Borg Warners in the old hot rods.
