Installed FASS, but problem with fp gauge

Finally installed my FASS system today. Went real smooth. Didn't have trouble with anything mentioned by folks on this board. But here's the rub....... my fp gauge was plumbed into the fuel intake port on the VP 44. To connect the fass I had to disconnect the gauges fuel line to connect the fuel line from the fass. I know there is a place on the fass for a fp gauge, but is there any other way to set this up. I went all over town today trying to "T" into the fuel inlet from the fass so I could use my shiny new fuel pressure gauge. I would have been great to get the gauge working at the same time as the new fuel pump, I was wanting to see just how good my new fuel pressures would be. So, are there any solutions that I am unaware of or just hook up the gauge to the FASS???? Thanks!

Did you keep the factory fuel filter? I upgraded to a FASS II last week and left my FP gage connected to the needle valve on the outlet side of the fuel filter. Works great.

Any auto parts shop will have a 3/8 Tee and fittings. I got some custom made 1/2inch lines (crimped ends-no leaks) from my pump to the injection pump. My FP guage used to bounce alot so I put a needle valve on it and it took away that problem. I've tried using the stock filter and lines route but it would drop my pressure too much at the pump, for me personally. My fuel pressure would drop below 10psi on wot blasts.
