Install Gauges? EGT/Pyrometer

I am looking at buying and installing a set of gauges for my 07.

Auto Meter

Pyometer/EGT

Trans Temp

Boost

My question is how hard are they to install?

I know the Pyometer/EGT gauge you need to drill and tap.

Thanks

if you are some what mechanically inclined you shouldn't have a problem. Most kits or gauges come with all the instruction you need to get the job done.

One suggestion.... you might want to look into Isspro or Dipicol gauges as they both match the OEM cluster and both emit green light like the OEM gauges.

this is a great place to make your purchases. One reason being, Geno's makes sure you have everything needed to do the installs. A banjo bolt is one thing that most will charge you extra for. It comes with Geno's gauges.

I bought some an Autometer 3 gauge A-pillar kit. My local Dodge dealer installed it in an hour and a half. My Pyro went into the Jake so there was no drilling needed.

Autometer's are ok.. I am installing mine right now.. I would recommend buying the kit from geno's or diesel manor.. I bought mine locally to support the small town shop but coulda saved money and bought the Issso's of Dipro's from Dieselmanor for about half the cost.. by the time I get all the rest of the crap to install it... Autometer's are good guages though I like them ...

They are fairly easy to install..

What if my truck has no jake brake?

Will I still need to drill? Or can I buy a kit for no drilling?

You will have to drill and tap it, but don't worry it's not that bad just make sure you have a strong drill and bit cause that manifold is pretty hard.

Check out my gallery for pics and info on the install.
It's not too bad if you're a mechanical person...
