Inspection
Well turns out my state inspection expired last month... whoops! I got a few questions for everyone;
1. Will having a swiss-cheese airbox make a difference?
2. Will having my fuel pressure gauge plumbed directly into the cab matter?
3. I have a small hole in my exhaust (about the size of a dime) where I burned through with weld, can I just tell them that is my "drain"?
4. Do you think they will notice and/or ask questions about a brass needle valve attached to the rear of the AFC? (That is my valet switch)
5. In this tank I put 3/4 of a quart of outboard 2-stroke oil in the full tank, it helps my mileage but does it hurt my emissions?
6. I don't have a cat on the truck, I figure I can just tell them that it didn't come on the truck when I bought it (which is actually the truth). Oh the hood has been replaced and I can't find any catalyst stickers under hood ANYWHERE.
7. I have a slightly leaky HG, do I need to spray off the grime that has stuck to the area that leaks or will it not matter?
This is my first time to take this truck, or a diesel for that matter and get a state inspection done. I am going to slide my AFC housing all the way towards the firewall and leave my valet switch in slow-mode. Sorry for being such a long post but I figured I'd run everything by you guys! Thanks!
