Input From those with built trannys

I had my tranny built up about three weeks ago.3 disc Precission bullit converter.extra clutches, transgo vb worked a little different by the tranny builder, billet servo, ect.I have had my smarty for almost 2 years now so finally Tried 4.11 wild torque mngt. on sw9. That is an awsome program crazy fast.So my question is how many use this setting on your built trannys.only once in awhile or all the time.My tanny shifts a whole lot smoother on wild 9 than mild 5 which I usally run on.Also the small amount of lag from the stall speed being 250 rpms lower is gone. The turbo spools very fast so little smoke. What have been the dyno #'s for this program did a search did not find too much on dyno #'s.I know fuel mileage suffers but how well will a built tranny hold up on this level mind you I do not drag race alot or boost launch but do get on it now and then.I do get a kind of wierd vibration when getting on the highway wide open but my stock tranny did it also so I think it might be some harmonics from the exhaust.

Based upon what is in your sig, you are probably about mid to high 400's with everything on kill. There are no posted dyno results because that would mean nothing because every truck is different. That said, your tranny should be just fine to drive as you have it built. From the conditions you describe, it sounds like a good job was done. Therefore, at the still modest power levels, if you want to run around on wild 9, you can. Without a billet input and drum though, do not do boosted launches and I think you will be fine.

The 411 software is my favorite to date.

With stock injectors and a Silver62 turbo, 411 sw9 stacked with EZ/2, I dynoed several times, 460 to 495hp, I could never break 500. After I installed Don's 75hp extrude honed injectors I hit 550 consistantly.

My tranny likes this software, wish it had the options of the newer ones. Just be careful if you upgrade, depending on what you download, you may not be able to get 411 back loaded.

Thanks for all your replies. If I think my truck is quick now must be insane with 900 hp unreal. I like that "Modest" power level LOL, used to be 400 hp on the street was up there. Technology just amazing.

400hp is still respectable, and usable. Once you go beyond 400hp(or before), transmission, clutch, driveline, axles, everything is subject to destruction.

At 400hp a common rail can pull 12k all day long(+itself), if you pull above that, in high temp area's, then the cooling system is lacking. I have now ran my truck over almost all NW passes, and at the 400hp level, my truck has performed flawlessly..... Did blow a boost hose on the crest of McDonald.

I guess what I am saying, the truck/Dodge, cannot support anything over that, unless many $$$$$ are spent.(short bursts excluded).
