What injectors for new engine?

Im building a new engine to replace my cracked 53 block. Its getting compleatly torn down, hot tanked, magna fluxed, Ballanced & blueprinted, Its also getting a hamilton "HD Big Stick" cam, new push rods, & valve springs, The Pistons & barings are getting coted, & also getting O-Ringed & studded, Along with some head work. Im trying to figure out witch injectors I should get for the new motor. Its getting close to being done so i need to hurry up and decide. Iv heard everything from stay with the 120's that are in my sig to Mach 4's Mach 6's & everything inbetween. So take a look at my sig & what the new engine is getting & give me your thoughts please. This is my daily driver in the smoke hateing southern CA. So please give me your input TIA

If it were me, I'd try your injectors first before spending more cash on new injectors.

In that case, get a set of Mach 6's. I ran them when a had a single 64/71/14 which is similar to your Garrett.

i'm a firm believer of running injectors that you can live with daily WITHOUT babying the throttle. use the juice to turn it up when you want to. i have to run my smarty on timing only and remove the EZ to be able to run my cruise control comfortably running empty, so i'd say 130s are too big for my daily driver (i'm too cheap to replace them though!). with my drag comp and the smarty i dyno'd 435/1006. i have a Blue Chip FMS on the shelf to install so i can run the smarty on timing all the time and punch the FMS when i need to kick her in the tail. we'll see!

I was still able to tow but had to watch the gauge. Running with cruise control while towing made thing easier. I had no issue driving around the smoke, although if it hit lock up too early it would smoke some. I locked out o/d until 60mph as a work around.

Not everyone wants or needs an injector that big but I'm into racing my truck so I always wanted more fuel. I ran 12.5's with the single and 6's, I think it would have gone quicker had I taken the heavy steel aux fuel tank out.

I also run mach 6's with a 64mm turbo, at wot it's only a light haze, so you can drive around the smoke. Of course if you get on it too low of an rpm you will black out an intersection. EGT's can creep up on you on a long run, but they are livable for me.

Edit: you have a 5 speed, so it would be even easier for you to control the smoke.

Mopar I'd like to do a BB set but the price of a big BB Garrett is pretty high. I will keep the Garrett I have and maybe put a S480 under it. Price will determine which way I go. Do you know anyone that has good prices on BB Garrett's?
