injector pump seals

I have read all of the IP threads, and im curious if anyone has found a source for VITON seal kit for the VE?

I have been running a waste oil blend now for about 60,000 miles and ive notice my pump is dripping when its cold. time to take it off and reseal, but I want VITON o rings.

what is the OEM material?

any info is very much appreciated.

nothing but bosch (which is the OEM) is what i used. buy the kit at any fuel injection shop that is an authorized bosch dealer. DGK-121 is the kit you want

JWood, where are you located?
I got my DGK-121 ($22.00 CDN) and the one little metric o-ring I needed for my fuel pin WAS viton. That's the nice thing with the Bosch kit, if it's supposed to be viton it is.

Jim Lane says the green o-ring for the fuel pin is nitrile.

Jimmbo, raggmann.... thanks for the part numbers. it is available at our Diesel-Electric service shop here in Salt lake.

most shops here want $700 to rebuild the pump. skrew that.

what do they do other than clean it lube it and put it back together with new seals? maybe new DV's... I can do that.

would just depend on what's needed. i was quoted $400-$450 for a rebuild. that wasn't including hard parts if any were needed of course. you probably could rebuild it yourself but at least if it's at a shop, they would probably calibrate it after having rebuilt it. of course, you could always take it to a shop to have the calibration done after you rebuild it.
