injector oring

Is ther supposed to be an oring in the groove just below the alignment ball ?

no thats supposed to have a metal snap ring of sorts. used for seating the injector

Are you sure ?? Just removed all my injectors and groove was empty . Above the ball there is a groove with a small dia washer used to seat inj . I thought there was some sort of O -ring below alignment ball ??

I have the metal ring above the ball . I don't remember if there was anything in the groove below the ball.

my bad i wrote b4 i looked. you are right metal ring is above the ball and that groove you are talking about i have never seen anything in. the brand new set of 90's i just got didnt have anything in the groove and nothing was provided for it. so i never gave it a second thot

Are the 90 hp inj the same as marine 370 hp ? Where did you buy the 90 hp inj from ?

i Got mine from Pensacola Fuel Injection. Ebay full set for $199. i dont notice the truck is any faster but id does more low end grunt and more black smoke hahaha. gonna put a 210 pump on it soon. well see what that does for it.

do some research on the site here...evidently members have had issues with them as well. my experience has been good. but from what i was told the issues were under performing components and wrong parts

Dynomite Diesel is overnighting set of stage 2 , anyone else use DD injectors ? How can that Pensicola Inj sell a set for 199??? That would make me think

The only seal that goes on the nozzle end of the injector is the copper gasket. The o-ring thats supplied in most injector kits is a dust/water seal, that goes on after the retaining nut has been installed, but before the return and high pressure lines are installed.

There have been many complaints about Pensacola's poor quality products and bad customer service.
You get what you pay for.

i may be the 1 in a million statistic then lol. pretty happy with my set i bought. however what Bill says IS true you do get what you pay for.
