I walked into a Cummins commercial shop in Odessa, TX a few month ago and asked for the #4 fuel line. One of the counter guys was telling me he needed the engine serial number to make sure I got the right one. The other counter guy walked away and came back with the 4988808 box in his hand. I think it was $24.50 out the door.

I read that it has somethng to do with the vibration causing the isolator to break. I think it covered why only #4 but I cant recall off the top of my head....

Went and got the 10mm and 19mm flat wrenches. The 19mm is correct, could not see where the 10mm fit??On my 06 the fastener took a 8mm socket,no torx head,a flat wrench is needed as no room to use a ratchet.THX
