Injector leak and fueling ?'s

I've looked at a couple of 12V's lately and noticed that the injectors seem to leak around the outside. Is this a simple fix such as just replacing o rings? Also the truck I'm considering has 180K on it, would it be OK to do a few fueling mods to it, to boost the HP a little or am I asking for trouble this late in the game with that kind of mileage on it? Don't really know the previous maintenance history of the truck such as oil change intervals.

Most do seap a little around the injectors. Its not hard to fix that with new copper o-rings. If it is visibly squirting/pushing fuel out the top then there is an injector problem. As far as 180k, it is just getting broken in. Mine has 185k and runs awesome. Cousin just bought a 24v with 200k, and my other buddy also just bought one with 195k. You will be fine with whatever fueling mods you want.
