Yes. If it is made for diesel you will be fine. Power Service is what I also use and is a very common one.

There are several that are made by companies that specialize in gas vehicles and have one product for a diesel. I would try to stay away from those but that is just my 2 cents.

You can get jugs of Power Service Diesel Kleen either in the gray or white bottle at Walmart. I'd recommend the white bottle this time of year. Pep Boys and Autozone carry it, but it will not be as cheap.

Always, every fill up. I use powerservice because that is what's easily available up here. I really like stanadyne but can't get it up here. I use the winter anti gel kind in the white bottle during winter and the grey bottle in the summer.

I like Lucas as it does not contain solvents like many other cleaners do.

I used to use it..... I have used PowerService (makes some serious timing rattle in the cold weather), Howe's meaner cleaner, etc. Truck was still noisey. One day I just hooked up to my trailer to get hay..... After I was done,,,,,hunh, no more noise. Don M. has stated many times he very rarely see's issues with the injectors due to lubrication. It's mostly water or over pressure problems. Do what you like, just wasting your money in my opinion.


Oh yeah, take all that money you spend on the additive and put it into a good 2-3 micron filtration system. You could have it quick for what you put into running all that junk.

Lubricity problems are far more likely to show up in the CP3 than in the injectors.

For injectors, deposits are the problem.

No need, our winter fuel is blended so it won't gel in Canada, at least I've never seen it and I've run to -39*C (about the same in *F).
