injection pump pressure

injection pump pressure
at idle i am running between 20 and 25 psi measured at the pump,i just want know if any of you guys feel that this is to much pressure and i should put some kind of regulator on the fuel line. at wot with comp on 5-5 pressure drops to about 13, that i am happy with, but wanted to know if too much pressure going into the pump when not under load is bad for the vp44.
any input appreciated.

So you're measuring your fuel pressure before the fuel filter or do you have an aftermarket setup?

I am running about 23 at idle, and 19 at WOT. If my pressure at idle was 25 or more, I would have a regulator. I don't think the VP44 is made to handle that kind of pressure, but I could be wrong.

i am measuring my pressure at the pump, not before the filter.
so what is the best regulator to put inline, after the pusher pump.
so far i cant seem to find one for this ap.where to get one?
